I just recently took out my kinky twist extensions. The very first thing that I did was pre-poo my hair overnight to get the softness and moisture back. I separated the hair into 8 sections and applied the pre-poo starting with the ends of my hair and worked my way up and then pinned each section up.
After the pre-poo. I washed my hair with shampoo and then did a deep conditioning treatment with the Shea Moisture Deep treatment mask. Left it on for 20 minutes and then rinsed with warm water, then with cold.
After the wash and conditioning, I went straight into my moisturize and sealing my ends to prepare the hair for styling and for the week.
After the moisturizing and sealing, I set my hair for the style. I love to style on soaking wet hair because I get great definition.
After I set the hair, I will add rollers to the ends and protect it with a satin bonnet. Wake up in the morning, rub some Coconut oil on my hands and take down the flat twists, fluff and go.
I re-twist my flat twists every night to keep the definition and that is the style of the week.
