My home made deep conditioner

Hi, here are the items that I use for my homemade hair deep conditioner.

Avocado – Rich supply of vitamins, nutrients and fats needed for moisture.

Jamaican Black Castor oil – Thickens and softens hair. Also gives it shine.

Raw African Shea butterRepairs damaged hair, great for sun ray protection, conditions hair

Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Adds slip to hair for detangling, has fatty acids needed for healthy hair, adds shine

Coconut oil – Provides shine, moisturizes the scalp and hair. Softens hair

Optional: Mayo and/ or egg for protein.

So you will first take the avocado and smash it until it is mushy, then melt down the Raw African Shea butter by putting it in a pot of water.

Once it starts to melt down, pour some on top of the smashed avocado. Next pour the other oils in the mix (you might have to melt down your Coconut oil) and mix it until it is smooth. After you wash your hair with your shampoo or co-wash with conditioner, apply the home made concoction from end to root (upward) and then start to detangle. Once you have detangled a section, two strand twist it and move to the next. Once you have completed detangling the whole head then you can put a plastic cap on to start the conditioning process. I normally keep this on for at least 1 hour or even overnight, depending on what my hair needs at that time.

When you are ready to rinse, go ahead and rinse with luke warm water then apply your normal conditioner in by untwisting one twist at a time and applying from end to root then retwist to avoid tangling. Wait 5 minute then rinse with the twists still in and gently sqeezing each twist. You do not have to rinse out all of the conditioner.

After that, you can move on to your pampering session and then style.
