Feeling on fingers: It feels wet, not oily, but wet.

Directions: Scoop gel into hands and distribute evenly through cleansed wet or damp hair, following conditioning. Comb through with a wide tooth comb or hands to shape curls. Style as desired, allowing some time to dry. Use on damp hair will result in loose wavy curls, on wet hair expect riotous curls. Use on dry hair to minimize fly aways and frizz. When using a blow dryer, choose a cool or warm setting.
My opinion:
OMG, I have been looking for something to hold my hair in a style without the hard feeling, or an oily or greasy feeling, and will last all day. This is it, I am sooooo in love with this new Curling Souffle. I had less shrinkage than normal and I did not have to use a lot of it. This product right here is the bomb! I love it, it worked perfect for my kinky hair type. So I pre-pooed for an hour with my oils, Raw African Shea butter, Jamaican Black Castor oil, Coconut oil and extra virgin Olive oil.

Then I jumped in the shower, washed and conditioned. I used my home made conditioner.
I have noticed that when I use the Avocado in my hair, it really helps to bring out my natural curls. I conditioned for only 30 minutes and then applied the Shea Moisture Restorative conditioner and let it sit for 5 minutes, detangled and two strand twisted then rinsed. I always say this, but I love the Shea Moisture line, so it was great that I was already using all of the same line which really shows how this Curling Souffle worked in my hair.
Freshly washed hair.

Then I finger parted from ear to ear, to prepare for the pampering session and clipped the top into two sections. I finger parted the back into four and began to apply the She Moisture Restorative conditioner as my leave in. Now the directions say to apply directly after conditioning and that it actually seals in the moisture, so I skipped my sealing part of the session and went right into styling. I finger parted the back and applied just a little Curling Souffle onto one section and then combed with the wide tooth comb and twisted all the way down to the ends. I did this all over, which resulted in 30 twists.

I then put on a hair net to protect from frizz and covered with my satin bonnet and went to sleep.

When I woke up this morning, I noticed that my hair was not completely dry and that is because I did not finish this until 11:30 pm last night and had to get up at 6:15am for our morning routine, so I had to use the blow dryer on the lowest setting to dry the twists. But here is a preview before I blow dried
OMG I was so excited when I saw how shiny it was and the curl definition. So here are the results after. I cannot wait to use this product for a wash n go and other styles.

I received so many compliments today on my hair and this is the best twist out that I have ever achieved with my hair type 4 kinky. So I have to give this product a
5 out of 5
Final thoughts:
I have no complaints about it. And my hair does not feel hard or oily, just moisturized with a little hold as if it was still wet but it is not. I love the Shea Moisture Curling Souffle and hope that you do too. If you have purchased this product, please leave a comment on your thoughts. Have a great day!
